HAPPY AFRICA DAY from P2RC ⭐️🤩🌈☀️🎶🎉 P2 had lots of fun celebrating Africa day. We had fun playing African drums and singing African songs with Mr McVeigh ! We even had a chance to get some henna and African braids ! A super day for everyone !

P4LT enjoyed learning all about WWII and living in Belfast at the @niwarmemorial. They were able to dress up in outfits and had lots of fun.

P4 CP had a great time visiting the War Memorial Museum to finish our WW2 topic. They enjoyed exploring the museum and trying on the different costumes.

Our P7 leavers ‘Back to the 80’s’ disco……. I don’t know who is enjoying this more, the children or the teachers? 😂

🚎 P7 had the Safety Bus visit us on Monday. We learned about road safety, how to behave on public transport, and emergency procedures. Very informative as we transition to our new schools. Stay safe P7’s 🌟 #Translink #SafetyBus

We had a great first day back to school, meeting our new teachers and seeing our friends.

Last week, we welcomed Dr Shawna Drayton and Jessica Oney from WISH CHARTER SCHOOL Schools, Los Angeles. They presented to the staff, their schools unique model for inclusion. Inclusion is extremely important at Holy Rosary as it ensures the individual needs of all students are met.

Primary 6 enjoyed a lovely walk through WildflowerAlley. Thank you to Northern Ireland Water for teaching the children about the processes behind our water and wastewater systems and the sustainable projects they are involved in. The children also received a free goodie bag! ☺️

P6 had a lovely time exploring the wonderful Wildflower alley last Thursday morning. During their visit, they also learned how NI Water cleans water and sewage and ways they can help to conserve our precious water.
