Year 9 Options Evening. Wasn’t sure what to expect after all the disruption caused by Covid, so thrilled to be busy all night.

Very proud of the music students in our Music Department Summer Concert tonight. Confident, assured performances. So great to have our first fully live concert back at school.

End of a marathon of a week with two Awards Evenings, two Drama and Music Workshops to three primary schools, one job interview (I got it!) and a theatre trip to see Billy Elliott with Year 9 and 10! Love my job but boy am I glad it’s the weekend!

Going to put it out there. I’ve lost my love for music teaching. Too many years battling a system that doesn’t value or support music, working alone, trying to make the experience of music great for my students. I’m eyeing up a new direction. Help me folks, need advice. #musiced
