HOT WEATHER UPDATE: The Salvation Army Arlington/Mansfield in Arlington, 712 W. Abram St., operates a cooling station from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays only. The stations are designed to provide people without air conditioning, without homes or with jobs that require working outdoors, a place to cool off.

988 is now active across the United States. This new, shorter phone number will make it easier to access mental health crisis services.
