COLD WEATHER UPDATE: @ArlLifeShelter in Downtown Arlington is activating its cold weather shelter for Monday through Friday, Jan. 24-28, 2022. Once at capacity, they will refer guests to the Salvation Army.

Protocols for check-in: -Guests should enter through the new entrance, located on the east side of the building; -Individuals are encouraged to check in at 5 p.m. so they can have a hot meal -The Life Shelter may adjust the check in time to earlier based upon the weather.

HOT WEATHER UPDATE: The Salvation Army Arlington/Mansfield in Arlington, 712 W. Abram St., operates a cooling station from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays only. The stations are designed to provide people without air conditioning, without homes or with jobs that require working outdoors, a place to cool off.
