On such an important day in our history, we pause to remember those who gave so much to ensure Victory in Europe. Rightly a day of celebration, but also a day to remember those who came before us, as we generate for the front line so we too can do our duty and serve.

On your marks....get set.....go!! 🌊 The Fighting Clan is off again having safely departed HMNB Devonport this afternoon. Glorious blue skies and calm seas greeted us as we headed out to sea. This next voyage is going to be epic....you don't want to miss it! #SansPeur

We did warn you that it would be epic!! 🤯 For the first time in over 10 years a Royal Navy T23 Frigate has berthed outboard of Belfast on the Thames - right in the heart of the capital! What a day for us and thank you to everyone who came out to support 🙏

An absolute pleasure to host Second Sea Lord onboard the Fighting Clan. The Ship's Company were delighted to get the opportunity to showcase their pride in how far we have come during regeneration. A very proud moment for us all!

It was an absolute privilege to host General Sir Gwyn Jenkins KCB OBE RM in the Fighting Clan today 🫡 A moment that will live long in our memories as the announcement of his new appointment was made during the time he was on board meeting our Ship's Company 🚢 #SansPeur #1SL

Another proud moment during our period alongside as we welcomed the Minster for the Armed Forces, the Rt Hon Luke Pollard MP MP and a plethora of other MPs from across the UK. The evening was rounded off by showing appreciation for our support with an affiliate's reception.

Many thanks to the team at Up at The O2 for allowing some of our Ship's Company to climb the O2 and experience the breathtaking views! It was a fantastic experience for all who could make it and greatly appreciated, thank you 🫡

A very busy and proud day for the Fighting Clan as we welcomed onboard some very special guests to meet the crew and hold a lunch in the Hangar. They even bought the blues skies and sunshine with them 🌞 We also hosted Sky News own Beth Rigby for a video piece on our Fo'c'sle

Well done to all those who correctly guessed.....we have arrived in the beautiful city of Rotterdam 🇳🇱 In less than 24 hours we left HMNB Portsmouth, transited the Strait of Dover and got alongside at Parkkade, Rotterdam....a great effort from our Navigator, Lt Ed Farrer RN! 🧔

An amazing evening for The Fighting Clan saw us hosting Gijs Tuinman Joanna Roper and Stephen Lillie alongside in beautiful Rotterdam. Fantastic to make new friends with so many people from different places and backgrounds, but with whom we share values and traditions.
