From today the level of grant employers receive from the government as part of the #CJRS, to contribute towards employees wages will be reduced. Employers will now need to contribute 10% of wages for hours not worked, with the government continuing to contribute 70% of wages.

Changes to #righttowork checks came into force on 1 July 2021. What's new? Passports or National ID cards are no longer acceptable documents for EEA and Swiss citizens living in the UK. Instead employers will need to be provided with evidence of their status under the #EUSS. #HR

Changes to the #CJRS were introduced on 1st August, meaning the level of grant employers receive from the government to contribute towards employees wages will be reduced. Employers will now need to contribute 20% of wages, with the government continuing to contribute 60%.
