A sketch of St. Cuthberts, #Churchtown from a booklet published in 1892. Note the old entrance pillars to the church, where today stands the Lychgate, with said pillars now forming an entrance to the rear of the Parochial Hall.

This is a good idea in the absence of better options/cash but — not that you can blame a backbench MP for this not happening, not their call or responsibility — the first thing Keir Starmer should have done after the riots is find £13 million to repair and reopen Southport Pier.
