Met with a coach this week. 5600 scholarships in FBS/FCS. 400,000 high school seniors. 12,000 College kids entered the portal in December. 1500 went FBS/FCS. So 1500 D1 caliber players got pushed to DII/NAIA/DIII/JUCO. Be Patient. Those schools are starting to recruit HS now.
