Another school shooting is unfolding as I type this. I'm at a loss of words. Why was Sandy Hook not enough to stop this. Why was Parkland not enough to stop this. Why was Uvalde not enough to stop this. I'm so fucking tired of this!

Bro they just targeted a tent in Al Aqsa hospital vicinity. 3 were killed - sleeping. It is 3 am. I freaked out after hours trying to sleep. And this stupid drone does not stop buzzing.

ABBY 🇵🇸 If we’re talking about the same person, she didn’t ask for anyone to sign off or approve. But people discounting everything good she said because she admitted she eats out 3x a year just isn’t helpful. And people dog piling her left me confused about the ultimate objective.

Regularly thinking about how to best protect dozens of children from being murdered in my classroom is not something teacher school prepared me for.

If you’re an educator and regular school shootings make you think ‘I will not take a bullet for other people’s kids,’ that’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with you and everything wrong with a country unwilling to protect its most valuable resource.

Uvalde and Parkland and Sandy Hook and Columbine are not hot-takes. There are people alive today who love people who died in those schools, so be intentional and thoughtful when you name them and lift up the voices of those who continue grieving and fighting.

Sentencing a 14 year old isn’t doing something. It’s pretending to do something instead of taking meaningful action to ensure this never happens again.

I beg y’all to test your pills and powder. Not even on a high horse, cause I drink the house down, just so happens my vice is regulated by the govt and legal. If you’re not in a place to stop doing pills and powder, PLEASE find you some test strips, I beg.

I worry about the disabled students and educators. Check to see how inclusive emergency plans are for different abilities. That keeps me awake at night.
