Thanks UHSPS & Tanoh Asamoah-Danso for this evenings CPD talk on Black History Month. A great insight into Freedom House Ambulance Service, NHS WRES and discussing how NHS trusts & staff can improve equality & diversity, making the service better for all #BlackHistoryMonth

Prescribers/drug nerds, a question: Are there any legal implications surrounding mixing medications? Specifically, the combining of salbutamol and ipratropium bromide within a nebuliser acorn. Is there any guidance to do so safely, or legislature preventing us from doing so?

Do you know CPR? Our paramedic science students take you through the procedure 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ Don't forget, if someone is unconscious and not breathing normally always call 999 first and start CPR straight away.

Excellent podcast by EEAST Safety & Experience, interviewing Mandy & Emily Crosby. Insightful to hear about the importance of ‘just culture’ and the benefits of regular crew briefings to keep us aware of our own limitations and challenges #patientsafety #NHS #Ambulance
