Young people in Zim !!!

Within my 2 years as a UNICEF JPO at UNICEF ZIMBABWE and UNICEF East Asia Pacific , I learned that Empowering Adolescents and Youth is the only way to ensure the programs we design are sustainable, relevant and efficient. I stay inspired and grounded each day by the young people I meet.

UNICEF Zimbabwe is aware of a FAKE message circulating on social media titled: UNITED NATIONS CHILDRENS FUND(UNICEF) ZIMBABWE RECRUITMENT 2023- inviting members of the public to fill in an application form for recruitment.

Participation is a core principle of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Today, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 opened its 31st Children's Parliament, a platform that promotes childrens participation & engagement under the theme "Rights of Children in a Digital Environment".

A plea for #inclusive access to digital technology for 🇿🇼 children with disabilities. Without digital tools that cater to children with hearing or visual impairments; without inclusive access to the internet & online learning platforms, vulnerable children will be left behind.

In his remarks, UNICEF's Dr. Tajudeen Oyewale calls on Govt and the Pvt Sector to continue to prioritize investment in digital infrastructure and connectivity as a public good, to support digital content & skills development in support of digital learning for 🇿🇼 children. #DAC2023
