Caught up with the Namaqua Dove at Akrotiri, it’s not often they hang around. Other highlights include my first Golden Oriole of the spring, 30 Night Heron, good numbers of Whinchat, Pied, Collared & Semi-Collared flycatchers, Subalpine, Ruppells & Wood Warblers #cyprusbirds

First day on holiday in Cyprus, a quick look over some scrubland next to our Paphos Hotel produced at least 6 Nightingales, Wryneck, Woodchat Shrike, Sardinian Warbler and three Quail, I even got a blurred pic of the Quail, a bird I have never photographed before 😀#cyprusbirds

I have relatives staying at Olympic Lagoon resort in Paphos. Kanika Hotels & Resorts do not allow ANY outside guests to visit their relatives staying in the hotel. No day passes allowed. Staff were rude and unhelpful. I won’t be recommending that hotel for relatives to stay in!
