One of the highlights of Cyprus was watching Alpine Swifts chase each other over the sea whilst Eleonora’s Falcons soared around the cliffs below. Pleased to have captured this image of three of the swifts chasing each other, almost looks like a composite image!

A Male Namaqua dove zoomed past me at Akrotiri Marsh, landing in a bush, never to be seen again (only my second here 🔥) + usual wetland birds, Great spotted cuckoo, Turtle doves, Hoopoe & 2 Great reed warbler.

Nearby 2 Blue cheeked bee eaters at Bishops pool.

Cyprus day 3- up to the mountains in search of endemic sub-species, Masked Shrike, Bonelli’s Eagle, and Cretzschmar’s Bunting. Managed some fantastic views of all of the above in a spectacular setting.
