Education and awareness about people with disabilities and supports such as Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind are at the heart of why I necame an advocate. I am really proud to have had this opportunity to come home for this and for their support in our Christmas Fundraiser last weekend!

Thread. We met with a family, their daughter is a full time wheelchair chair user but going to college. The college isn’t served by any bus route but they can get to a dart station. A couple of weeks ago she and a group of friends decided to go into town and use the dart.

Unnecessary obstacles on our paths are a barrier for people with who are vision impaired to travel safely and independently without risk of serious injury. Help raise awareness by being more proactive in keeping our community paths clear of obstacles!
