The lesson successive governments have learned from the sheeplike response of the British people to all the Covid lockdowns is that they can now exercise their executive to powers to ride roughshod over them in all circumstances and there will be absolutely no reaction !

Hilarious take. She means the Government borrowed £7b less in December than expected. Government debt is still going through the roof ! It’s not reduced at all.

Huh ?? Every month the Gvmt is increasing its debt. This guy doesn’t know the difference between borrowing less and reducing debt. Labour aren’t reducing the national debt at all.

This is poor from Chatham House. The ICJ judgment, as the underlying article admits, was not legally binding and therefore did not “oblige” London to end administration of the islands.

I completely agree. The failure to provide this information on websites is common. Another important factor is to make sure there are a number of keys available, held by parishioners within easy reach of the church at least one of whom is likely to be in on a workday.

Clever move. He will be back in a few years and I expect they are calculating this will take some of the immediate heat off Starmer.

Not a good counter-example. Tennyson is using “passes” in a different sense. Try replacing “passes” with “dies” and you immediately see that the sentence would become meaningless.
