Coming up in our November 13th militaria auction, this scarce fragment of a downed German Zeppelin. The dates punched into the face suggest that the piece came from either L32 or L33, both of which made bombing runs over Kent and Essex, with both crashing in Essex. Hansons Auctioneers

An unusual and impressive aviation collectible. A large laminated wooden propeller blade, set with a small gilt brass barometer. Likely c.1920 in date. Its former owner worked for Rolls Royce, and it’s possible that this is where it originated from. Hansons Auctioneers Charles Hanson
