Our recent meta-analysis supports the use of active chest tube clearance (ATC) after cardiac surgery. ATC had lower rates of ✅re-exploration, pneumonia, and postoperative atrial fibrillation as compared to conventional chest tube clearance. 🌐Paper link: 2u.pw/VhGWC
