Yeah, you'd struggle w/ perfectionism & anxiety too, if you were mocked, shamed, or punished-- sometimes without clear rhyme or reason-- growing up. Verbal & emotional abuse & emotional neglect leave different scars than physical abuse-- but scars all the same.
