Why is this allowed here? The replies are full of hate. My family told me about what they went through in the Soviet Union, never thought we would see Antisemitism rise so much again. This is not even related to Israel or the war, pure race. Very sad that this is happening.

And if you want a deterministic UI? Can you rely on a 100% robust protocol with low latency based on auto-generated UI? Bearing in mind that the model would need to โ€œone shotโ€ the HTML (or whatever presentation format) without an iteration cycle that would add latency? I mean, I

Today, weโ€™re announcing the preview release of ty, an extremely fast type checker and language server for Python, written in Rust. In early testing, it's 10x, 50x, even 100x faster than existing type checkers. (We've seen >600x speed-ups over Mypy in some real-world projects.)

I started using em-dashes around 2022, to the point of defining a keyboard shortcutโ€”then ChatGPT happened and it ruined it for me and people think I write with AI.

Interesting new move from Astral. Likely valuable for heavy consumers of HW-accelerated and GPU-aware Python packages in the ML space. I think a private pyx registry with PyPi mirroring may be appealing in B2B. Charlie Marsh and Andrew Gallant always ship quality stuff -

Personally, I think people that say Apple is โ€œlosing the AI raceโ€ are in a bubble. Thereโ€™s more to a HW/SW than building the SOTA foundational models. Siri not being competitive as a personal assistant is hardly the biggest churn risk for iPhone customers.
