Less than three weeks until I our due date and I cannot wait. I'm so excited to meet her and that has been building gradually for a while now. So why this morning am I full of fear about it all? What if when i meet her, I dont have that instant connection?

So yesterday I turned 40. Birthdays have never really bothered me too much tbh but this one was different. It is the first with my little girl and really made me think about the example Im showing her as she grows up. They say life begins at 40...

So far this year Ive been hopitalised with Covid Pneumonia, diagnosed with diabetes, lost my Godfather to cancer, lost my sister in law to a drunken hit and run and also been given notice that my job wont exist after the end of the year. So 2021, fuck right off.
