GANJA & HESS is a far-too-underseen masterpiece: transportive, rapturous, sticky and sexy.

Marathon first impressions: really, deeply cool. The way that the game state never breaks your immersion, including when navigating menus, keeps me fully enjoying the world and atmosphere created here. Punishing, but I like that; it's a great equalizer. STRESSFUL and rewarding.

Went to a barcade that had this Super Street Fighter 4 setup that was just a modded 360 booting straight into arcade mode. It had minimum 15 frames of delay and the buttons were bound wrong (and differently!) on each side. There was also Tekken 7 art all over it. Fever dream.

I am immensely enjoying Marathon. I have confidence that with the already STRONG core it'll continue to grow its wings as the devs water it. I've mostly played shorter 1P games and watched films for a while, so it's an adjustment to spend so much time on one thing. It has hooks.
