I've studied fluid mechanics. I know what lift is. But I really don't like winged things that don't flap. They just look wrong. Like it shouldn't work should it? Surely that's a bug? Can we all agree to move over to ornithopters please?

Good to know they've found a way to produce light without using protons on neutrons. Presumably it works on some sort of neutron scintillation?

There's actually something in this for Physics teachers about significant figures and measurement uncertainty. I always find it difficult to tease out the difference between 4, 4.0 and 4.00.
