It would have been my lovely mother’s #99th birthday today. This beautiful photograph was taken to celebrate her #21st birthday. Way back in 1947. The year she met my father. #Birthdays Do we still sit for special birthday portrait photos today?

Today we wish to entrust our prayer for peace to the intercession of the Virgin Mary, assumed into heaven. As a Mother, she suffers for the evils that afflict her children, especially the little ones and the weak.
