Midway through my 2nd week here at Ramp. The culture moves incredibly fast. Internal responses that I would expect to take 24 to 48 hours are answered and resolved within 30 seconds, often/usually by AI. Speed is a high priority.

Today is Day 2,537 at Ramp. Yes, we count the exact days since the company was incorporated and it’s publicized for all to see. Because when you count each day, each day counts.

A disagreement only happens because there are two valid viewpoints on either side. If one side of the argument has no valid point, it doesn’t exist in the first place. Understand that your opponent’s conviction about their counter perspective is as valid as your own.

Every single customer experience detail is obsessed over at Ramp. 1) card comes in a beautiful package 2) you text HIRAMP to activate (easy) 3) the card itself is made of metal and has some weight to it. #greatUX #UserExperience

We ran a promo, free AirPods for taking a demo of Ramp. Instead of just sending the AirPods out, we send a pre-loaded Ramp card. The prospect can then use the card to make a purchase & experience Ramp firsthand. TLDR; get your prospects using your product as soon as you can.

For decades, powerful people have had an unfair time-to-complete-tasks advantage because they could leverage assistants and employees to get things done on their behalf. In 2026, the playing field is now level. Everyone can execute almost as fast as they can think. #ai #claud

There are two profiles of companies 1) Those using AI internally as an add-on here & there. 10% productivity improvement. Bite size chunks. 2) Those using AI everywhere. Every system. Every process. 100% productivity improvement. Wholesale adoption. The former is dead in < 5 yrs

I’ve interviewed hundreds of candidates for sales roles in my career. The single most harmful thing I see in an interview is when candidates think it’s a safe space to share anything negative on their former employers. Refrain. The interview is not the time and place for this.

Humans think ~400 WPM Humans speak ~150 WPM Humans type ~40 WPM Wispr Flow is a game changer, a must-have. I rarely type now. I can't go back to 40 WPM. #AI #tooling #aitool

I’m working a deal with a large non-profit. I used Claude to do deep research and find overlap between the non-profit donors and current customers. This took minutes instead of hours had I done it manually. #AI #claude

A dollar saved is a dollar earned, right? Wrong. If you have a 25% margin business, you need to earn $4 in order to save $1. If it’s a 10% margin business, you need to earn $10. 1% margin business…need to earn $100. Saving money is often undervalued. Ramp

One downside of remote work is it’s hard to build relationships with people not on my immediate team. At Ramp, we use a tool to auto suggest and schedule 15 min meetings with new a colleague every 2 weeks. It’s like engineered spontaneity without a physical presence needed.

“Give me 6 hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first 4 sharpening the axe.” This George Washington quote is particularly relevant in the age of AI. Investing time in tools that will yield better results seems counterproductive, but is a great investment of your time.
