Barli Inscription the oldest recorded Brāhmī inscription of the Jain religion prolly the oldest archaeological evidence of Jainism. It mentions "Viraya Bhagavate chaturasiti vase" meaning it is dedicated to Lord Vīrā(Mahāvīra)and was inscribed in the 84th year after his nirvāṇa.
