Having this modest ventoux red. Usual Rhone shit mix of Grenache, Syrah mouvedre et al. Lovely red fruit. Lightly spiced . Not heavy. Very french if there’s such a thing. It’s the kinda wine you’d want in a cheap but wonderful back street bistro in 1983. Love it.

Proper classy wine. I always think Rully in good vintages is great value. Minerality, buttery. Hint of salinity. Fat enough to go with bigger food. Perfect with trout, salmon. If you fancy white with roast poultry, it would do you proud!
