We created more wool dyed with natural objects while working with the fabulous artist, Ms. Ewa. The boys are preparing a pot for boiling avocado 🥑 pits. The wool strands got dyed with yellow and red onion skins. #Science #art #nature

Students learned how to transform raw wool right from the sheep’s body to usable wool with Ms. Ewa. We learned about carding wool to both clean and align the fibres. Everyone attempted to keep their elbows down to avoid ‘chicken wings’! #wool #Science #activelearning

Working with Ms. Ewa we dug up soil from the garden, studied it, added water 💦 and mixed it carefully, then put all the garden soil in a glass container so we could see the particles settling out. Clay lays on top of sand. #Science #art #Discovery #nature

We had a great time cleaning the classroom for the new kindergarten students. We vacuumed the carpet and carried out all the furniture we care using teamwork. Now the class is clean and bare. #teamwork #cleaning #preparation #movingon
