. We have one natural asset of global importance in this part of Kent - our unique chalk streams... And we've just abandoned efforts to protect them. .

The truly awful thing is that there's loads of expertise in the Lords, and we could improve the Bill, but our eco ignorant Govt is determined to ignore us.

The Labour Party are absolutely dripping in property developers money. They're creating assets for foreign investors - not the council homes we need. Talk baby talk.

Can see why Labour waited for Lords stages before adding THIS to the Crime and Policing Bill. Extending protest suppression to include vague ‘cumulative’ impacts (that could include OTHER protests!) will clearly be misused by police. Lords must oppose this attack on our rights.

. Let's be real. Pouring millions of tons of concrete over our countryside can never be a good thing. However, if we are forced to do it, then of course we must minimise the immense harm done by powering this desecration & monstrosity with clean energy solutions. .

Watching Labour MPs take a wrecking ball to nature makes me so angry & so sad. Their action tonight voting down amendments to the #Planning bill intended to protect wildlife & habitats from destruction is so reckless & so counterproductive. People didn’t vote Labour for this 👇

Who knew that Farage, the man who wants more than anything to be our next Prime Minister, and his girlfriend Ferrari, were in the Epstein Files??!?!?? .

. Natural England's off-setting credits amount to nothing more than a Pay to Pollute scam. It makes no sense to destroy one ecosystem in order to raise 💷 for another as if Nature can be concentrated in a few spots. We need to conserve ALL our remaining habitats & ecosystems.

What a result! Huge congratulations to Hannah - everyone in Gorton & Denton have just made history. This result shows The Green Party can win anywhere, that the politics of hope can win over the politics of hate & there is no longer any such thing as a Labour safe seat 💚

As the price of natural gas spikes across Europe for the fourth time in the last five years remember those extremely clever people in Reform and the Conservatives who want to abandon renewable energy and rely even more on gas 🤡 🤡

This is how you fight the fascists: clear, materialist arguments for peace and a good life for all working people. These are the politics that flow from green econimuc populism: bringing people together for economic and climate safety—and against the greedy, violent 1%.

Nigel Farage says he supports British farmers. But when asked directly if he would allow chlorinated chicken, he says yes. You cannot claim to back British farming while opening the door to lower-standard imports that undercut it. That’s the contradiction. Reform Party UK Exposed 🇬🇧

Last Saturday, the price per megawatt-hour of electricity in Spain was €14, while in Italy, Germany, etc, consumers were paying over €100, that difference was not luck, but because we worked to be at the forefront of renewable energy. - Spanish PM Sánchez

Warnings from the World Meteorological Organisation and the International Energy Agency show a growing climate and energy crisis driven by fossil fuel dependence. This must be a wake-up call. The government must reject the misinformation from Reform and the Conservatives and

Zack Polanski- "Steve Reed, the Housing Secretary, he just charged £2,000 a pop to property developers to have a curry with him" "We know property developers were not spending £2,000 to have a nice chat" Pretty diabolical tbh.

Tonight MPs will vote on the govt's latest attempt to crack down on the right to protest - this time through restricting recurrent protests. Myself and fellow Green MPs will be voting against these plans; peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our democracy and must be defended.
