I had the best experience as an intern at the Dietetics Department at Queen’s Hospital BHRUT NHS 🏥 (2023). I got to understand the role of a nutritionist in public health, peaking my interest in kidney and liver diseases. Lucky to have Prof Gideon Mlawa as my Mentor. #nutritionist
I value the opportunity I got from the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development to attend their Annual General Meeting 2024 at the International Fund for Agricultural Development HQ in Rome, Italy. I got to share #youth views on finance for agri-food systems rural development. I also spoke about my work World Food Forum Tanzania Chapter under World Food Forum.
During high school holidays, I volunteered Agri Thamani Foundation & developed interest in #nutrition. I was so happy to get the chance to intern International Parliamentary Network for Education (2023-2024) to do School Meals Research for the Parliamentarians School Meals Toolkit School Meals Coalition. Becoming a #publicnutritionist
For the first time, I spoke in front of many people with so much experience at 2024 Annual General Assembly Global Donor Platform for Rural Development. I connected my young experience with financing #foodsystems topic and linked it to World Food Forum Tanzania Chapter, represented #youth views & even answered questions. #proud
Excited that finally, we getting things in motion to get World Food Forum Chapters setup in all 16 SADC Countries. Grateful to Mr Misheck Gondo, Coordinator Southern Africa Youth Forum (SAYoF) for entrusting me to be part of #SADCYouth alongside Vivian J Joseph and today we briefed #FarmerInASuit.
