Mary Jane I’d love to create a massive statewide/nationwide plan that puts all the young people indoors WITH social supports to heal from trauma AND addresses the root causes of homelessness (poverty, family conflict, foster care, abuse, trauma, etc) for prevention.

There is a provincewide ban on setting fires for any reason within 1,000 feet of woods, including private campground, provincial parks and backyard fires. The ban is in effect until further notice.

Tomorrow, brave men & women will battle fires in 30+ degree temperatures while wearing heavy gear, carrying even heavier equipment while risking their lives in an unwavering attempt to push back an unrelenting force but sure, tell us more about how the ban is so unfair.
