12 hour shift on 🚑 today. 2 calls have been EoL. But no provision has been put in place. So 2 elderly patients have had to be taken from their bed and transported to 🏥 because no1 has been willing to talk about End of Life care. Please. Have the talk. It makes it easier.

Today was a good day … after offloading a patient into hospital, I bumped into a fellow paramedic who I unfortunately first met on shift when he was really unwell. The squeeze he gave me when we hugged was beyond emotional but it’s a moment I don’t ever want to forget 🥹💗 #NHS
