“.. more than 50% cannot afford them. Parents who often cannot afford to buy sanitary napkins for their school-going children do not send their children to school on days they are menstruating.” What a crime! #periodpoverty #lka themorning.lk/period-poverty…

We are happy to note that we have collected 781 packs of sanitary napkins from our donation drive at Butter Boutique last week! New collection venue will be announced soon. Please get in touch if you would like to contribute. Let’s help our girls stay in school!#periodpoverty

We are ready to collect donations at The Design Collective (Stratford Ave, Col 6) until next Sunday (2nd October ‘22). There are over 3000 girls across 23 schools in Mahiyanganaya who are in need of our help! Every pack counts! Let’s keep our girls in school. #periodpoverty

Duties imposed on 5 imported raw materials required for locally produced sanitary napkins have been waived. Accordingly, the price of a pack of 10 sanitary napkins produced locally will be reduced by Rs. 50-60 with these tax concessions, #freetoflow

Applauding the work of many activists and organisations that brought us here, despite the interferences by those running the monopolies (you know who you are 😉). Access to safe AND affordable sanitation should not be a luxury!Kudos Free To Flow, Malsha Kumaranatunge, Advocata Institute, Arka.
