Shoving last minute concessions no one has the time to debate, consider or read over is yet another example of the Government’s disdain for Disabled people. Hundreds of thousands in poverty from this vote - last minute rushed promises are not good enough! Kill the bill!

Disability News Service Sir Stephen Timms Removing clause 5 is England and Wales only. Clause 6 says northern Ireland will have to score 4 point still. As a northern Ireland mp just said in intervention to the Welsh speaking mp. Welsh mp asked for minister to answer in closing remarks about northern Ireland.

If you want to know how bad The Labour Party's Welfare Bill is, consider that EVERY charity and Disabled People's Organisation are opposed to it! To all Labour MPs: Listen to us and Vote No! Labour should be protecting disabled people not pushing them into poverty & removing support!

Hugely disappointed and quite betrayed by the fact Debbie Abrahams and Vicky Foxcroft 💙 voted for the bill which still includes cuts to the UC health component, when they've led such strong opposition on the Pip cuts. Just doesn't make sense

#WelfareReformBill The entire welfare reform bill should have been binned. MPs had no idea what they voted on. Ministers in chaotic disarray. Disabled people are angry anxious and scared Now we hold MPs to account who voted for the terrible welfare reform bill

It's laughable how hard Labour are trying to avoid taxing the super rich. During Covid, it's estimated that the UK's richest increased their wealth by £890 billion. A tax of 0.6% would raise billions – and not push anyone into poverty. So does Labour now represent the super rich?

Hey London North Eastern Railway and Charlie Woodhead please can you pass on my compliments to managers of train staff on the 11.31 NCL to KGX. For brilliantly managing disgruntled passengers to remove their luggage from wheelchair spaces, both as I boarded the train and throughout the journey.

The DWP admitted 25 cases in one year where their own errors caused serious harm or death—missed suicide warnings, ignored calls for help, unsafe decisions. They said it after the vote. Will you listen on ‘substantial risk’ now? It’s about to get worse. tinyurl.com/3xwjmmw9

New “trains of the future” will have self-balancing snack tables and cinema-style onboard entertainment, but wheelchair users still won’t be able to board independently. An enraging reminder that we disabled people live in a different universe than our nondisabled peers.

I’m bursting with pride for the young people in our Young Friends of the Earth Disability Justice Network. In a world where disabled people are so often disempowered, their energy and leadership give me hope. I’d really encourage all campaigners to explore and share these resources.

Hi Travelodge UK, I had to book into Premier Inn after being refunded, but you wouldn’t cover the £357 difference for the late notice room. By the time you refused, wet rooms had sold out, so I’m stuck with a lowered bath I can’t shower in. At least I can breathe at night.

Anyone know who runs assistance at Birmingham New Street? So many fails today, missed a train because they didn’t know it came in, baffling instructions, an hour wait and then them not passing onto ramp staff that I was on the train. Doug Paulley Sam (Flower Girl) Jennings
