So, I watched "The French Connection" again last night, and I have to say, does any film out there have more scenes of walking per foot of stock? (laudatory)

While it's good that the MTA is ordering at least some more R211s with open gangways, they should be the entire order, not only a minority. There's no reason beyond organizational inertia not to move to more passenger-friendly, safer open gangway cars like so many other systems

So, Hao Tran launched a new album today, and you know it has to be the best album in existence because it is the first one ever to explicitly mention me—multiple times! In all seriousness, great stuff, Miles and Uptown Sinclair! youtube.com/watch?v=czt0V-…

All too often, people don't hear about all the benefits of congestion pricing *beyond* the money. While the money is important, congestion pricing will do so much more for New York! Want to learn how? Take a look here, and then spread the link wide!

Despite superior, more cost-effective alternatives, the MTA is purchasing battery-electric locomotives for Metro-North to run on already electrified Penn Station Access tracks. This decision is baffling and misguided, and we urge the MTA to reconsider. Read our analysis now.
