Yesterday we ordered some pastel from Takeda. Pastel is a half-circle or rectangle-shaped thin crust pies with assorted fillings, fried in vegetable oil. I choose cheese. I also had a kibbeh with cheese inside and a bottle of sugar cane juice (caldo de cana).
