The number of unaccommodated asylum seekers has passed 1900 for the first time. Latest @dcediy figures show there are 1923 without State shelter, up from 1856 on Friday and 1780 from this day last week.

There are now 1994 asylum seekers awaiting an offer of shelter from the State, despite 80+ who were staying tents on the canal being offered accommodation this week.
