#LalWaterson (1943–1998), singer, songwriter, pictorial artist, sweetheart was born Elaine Waterson in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire on 15 February. Came to prominence with the influential folk revival group, the #Watersons. Interviewed Lal several times - some sort of record?

Folksinger, banjoist, songwriter #HedyWest (1938–2005) was born Grace Hedwig West on 6 April in Cartersville, Georgia. She was steeped in both traditional music and political song. Huge influence on me. I have written a very detailed biographical essay for publication in 2021.
