Some fantastic work by our WMP Traffic Firearms Operations Unit officers yesterday 🙌🏽 Following 5 armed car jackings over a 2/3 day period , our officers intercepted and arrested 2 offenders, secured a stolen vehicle and recovered a firearm that was thrown out of a car window . Brill work



Assisted our WMP Traffic colleagues in pursuing & apprehending these offenders! Teamwork at its finest!

Busy for B Unit. Arrests for Agg Burglary, Arson, Theft, Dangerous Drive. Weapons recovered including this sword from a foot-chase. Sterling effort from AFOs wearing nearly 2 stones of kit to catch and detain 2 (who were much younger). Great find by WMP Dog Unit too 🐶 (good Puppa)



AFOs recent training involved working with WMP Dog Unit and other tactics. Serious stuff but also great fun



Team 2 deployed to #Birmingham City Centre this afternoon for #OpAdvance With help from Firearms Operations Unit & Birmingham City Centre Police After a lenghty footchase from Corporatoon Street to Church Street a 16 year old male was arrested after trying to discard an #Axe and #KitchenKnife #OneTeam




Car stolen at Knifepoint in Oldbury. ARVs pick it up in Birmingham and safely detain the driver. Vehicle recovered and this knife seized. All within 30 mins of being stolen. With thanks to WMP Traffic for the assistance
