#ALERT | We are dealing with a serious collision on Belgrave Road at the junction of Highgate Road in the city centre.

The road between Sherlock Street and Haden Circle is likely to remain closed for some time.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as a diversion is in place.

#WARRANT | Two premises licences for King VN on Holloway Head have been revoked after we asked for a full review by #Birmingham City Council.

Three were arrested on suspicion of robbery. One has since been de-arrested, while two men aged 37 and 42 remain in custody.
One other, aged 36 was arrested for recall to prison.
Enquiries are ongoing.

#ARREST | Four men have been arrested following a disorder in #Birmingham city centre.
We were called to Colmore Row yesterday (Sun) at around 6.30pm, where officers found four men involved in the disorder.

#CONVICTED | A 22-year-old gunman has been convicted after shots were fired in a busy Birmingham city centre street.

Deraj Meade was arrested within days of two shots being fired as people were leaving bars in the early hours in June.

#OpAdvance | Officers stopped a man from commitring further criminal damage and anti-social behaviour on Broad Street. The officers deescalated the situation and offered him further support.

#OpAdvance | Officers are talking to taxi drivers within the city about the #ENOUGH campaign. Making sure that they spot the signs of anyone that might be vulnerable, and to report it to the police.
