UBCIC condemns the offensive comment shared by ⁦BCCP candidate Bryan Breguet. Such narratives ignore the historic and ongoing impact of colonization and systemic racism. Candidates should focus on justice reform and not on attacking racialized groups. #bcpoli

I don’t agree with his politics but Mr Milobar is a leader in his community & was a leader in his previous caucus. Now he has an opportunity to show true leadership to his kin & his community by acting on these words.

Lest we forget, Mr Rustad served as Christy Clark’s minister of aboriginal relations & reconciliation & supported the unanimous passage of the Declaration Act in 2019… “condemnation” doesn’t seem like enough

Good thread. 🧵 From a person who knows. From a person with experience. From a person who won’t let partisanship get in the way of reality. The kind of thread we need more of in #bcpoli. 🧵

Max Fawcett 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 Mo Amir 🪬 I don’t recall any “the election was fraudulent” #bcpoli tweets in 2013 (surprising result), 2017 (a tie) and 2020 (loads of mail-in ballots). Something that began in Washington, DC, on the night of Nov. 3, 2020, and culminated on Jan. 6, 2021, helps explain the difference.

Trump is waging an economic war on Canada. He’s banking on chaos and division to help him win. But we will face this moment with solidarity. We will mobilize our workers to defend our jobs, our communities and our future. Canada will win.
