It is bizarre that food production (which keeps us alive) gets more pressure to reduce its footprint than fast fashion, totally unnecessary flights for holidays, the film industry & motorsports. I’m not saying we don’t have a part to play but the legislative focus seems warped.

Amid the doom and gloom of wet fields and lack of spring drilling, a good news story! Lapwing nests a plenty! @gamewildlifeconservationtrust are surveying our fallow nesting plot on top of our hill and after spotting 14 birds last week, found a number of nests across the plot

I was in a room with the SoS two weeks ago when the farmers present could not have been clearer on the desperate straits many face; there were even tears. We’ve already lost 7,000 farms under this government; recycling previously unmet promises isn’t going to cut it.
