Did you know that tampons take 500 years to fully decompose? Don’t waste another month! Make your period #plasticfree with @rubycup and within 1 year you’ll have saved 200 tampons or pads from going to the trash. End the #BloodyWaste: rubycup.com/bloodywaste

It's easy as a manager to get defensive of your team and want to believe they're great all the time...but sometimes you need to listen to the feedback from outside your team to improve.

I'm very excited to be giving an updated version of my talk "dev and product - or on enjoying coding whilst creating value" at the next rug_b on Nov 7th. I'd be happy to speak with you about your issues with your product manager there :) rug-b.de/events/novembe…

My pet peeve? Hearing folks say "let's A/B test this". And don't me wrong, I think experiments and product optimization is great, I just don't think this is always the most appropriate solution and found this sometimes kinda lazy.

Fanny Krebs-Pinto Yes. A/B testing is a horrible way to get to delivering user experiences that delight customers. At best, it’s a last-stage refinement tool. Most of the time, it’s a way to sacrifice the user’s experience for the betterment of a poorly-conceived business goal.

I recently discovered hope gurion 's podcast about product leadership and not only do I like that a few folks share their experience on a given topic, I absolutely love that the shorter format fits perfectly my commute time. Keep the episodes coming please 🙏

Another one of my pet peeves: folks who run surveys with (way too) many highly hypothetical questions and base all their decisions on these answers. Bonus if the questions are asked in such a way that the person gets the answers that they hope to get.
