Great to see this on display in Thinktank! Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery It is something to be proud of Living Wage Foundation!

This Collection Project Officer role at pays just £21,840 pa, + requires previous experience of documentation, object handling, and working with hazards. The Science Museum once again showing itself to be one of the most consistently villainous nationals nationalmuseums.org.uk/jobs/job/20142/

This Curatorial Advisor role t Lichfield Cathedral has 11 meaty role responsibilities, including leadership and taking personal responsibility for objects and working 'continuously'. Astonishingly, it is *unpaid*. This is properly exploitative. #Lichfield #Staffordshire

Oh wow, Science Museum have re-posted this role today with a salary of £22,856 pa, an increase of £1016. A reminder that 2022 MA salary guidelines for collections officer roles are £29,125. That's still quite a few £ks missing.

.National Galleries of Scotland Could you explain how you will measure "gravitas" for this role? It's an incredibly subjective term and we strongly suggest a rethink! Recommend this read about the gendered use of gravitas! shorturl.at/HO9Hj (pdf download from American Alliance of Museums)

Hi Leighton House and Sambourne House Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, your Registrar and Documentation Officer roles both have these *essential* requirements. You don't *need* these qualification to do either of these roles. Why are you excluding candidates who could be perfect in these jobs, but don't have degrees?

Special shout out to Benjamin Franklin House who have this undergraduate requirement for their Front of House supervisor position. Benjamin Franklin's schooling ended for him aged ten. But cool, keep discriminating against non-graduates because they'll never amount to much I guess?

Jobs advertised on Science Museum website across their sites pay Living Wage Foundation, so it's very disappointing to see this outsourced role at £10.50 an hour. All workers deserve Real Living Wage. National Railway Museum Compass Group UK & I

The The Tank Museum once again showing their commitment to exclusion with needless credentialism in this Registrar role. jobs.tankmuseum.org/position/colle…

£127 per day is a grossly undervalued day rate for a freelance Project Manager role. Something has gone seriously wrong either with its calculation or with the ethics of National HIV Story Trust Centre for Queer History RCN History of Nursing Forum Newcastle University

Good to see Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery's Senior Curator role, broadly in line with MA Salary Guidelines (always remember to adjust for inflation!), with no qualifications in selection criteria, and interview questions sent in advance. Such a positive development, more people do this please!

Woe Royal Museums Greenwich is this for real? Collections Information Officer , with previous experience and a Museum Studies degree requirement, for £24,711? When you claim to be a 'museum for everyone', does that not include those who can't afford to work for you?

Thanks to sara wajid for loudly saying that if your values don't match an organisation, you should move on! There's a lot of power in choosing where you work and who you want to work for! #GEMConference2024
