So let me get this straight: #UCU members overwhelmingly (81%) rejected UCEA's 5% pay offer. At time of vote, the GS labelled the offer 'another devastating real-terms pay cut' and strongly recommended to reject it.

🚨BREAKING🚨 In today’s well attended EGM members voted 94% YES to a motion for strikes in response to threats of 50% MAB pay deductions. If management do not withdraw these threats they will be hit with strikes on June open days, July graduation, clearing and welcome weeks.
