One step closer.
Not everything will be palatable, and not everyone will agree, but the substance of today’s joint communiqué is as historic as it is positive.
Everyone who understands the true, raw reality of Brexit, which we have not yet experienced, will understand that.

I don’t know what the terms of the Treaty - if it comes - are.
But I do know they must be looked at with a clear head & context. The devil will as ever be in the detail. But equally we can’t lose sight of the alternative: the real consequences of Brexit we’ve not yet experienced

Is the elusive Treaty governing Gibraltar’s future relationship with now within touching distance? The fact Fabian Picardo is meeting David Cameron, José Manuel Albares & Maroš Šefčovič🇪🇺 (highest-level multilateral negotiations attended by a CM) is not insignificant.

Grateful for the opportunity to go on The Rest Is Politics to discuss the issues facing , the vibrancy and openness of our democracy, and how we are driving for a deal to solve the border issues facing many Gibraltarians daily and addressing untrue allegations about us!

Securing an act who sells out an entire month at the 20,000-seater London O2 for one gig in 34,000-population is no mean feat. Kudos and congratulations to GibMedia LTD for this huge achievement and for managing to keep ticket prices comparable to Michael McIntyre UK shows.

. UK House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee, including Chair Bill Cash, been kept informed on UK/EU Treaty progress. To now raise apparent alarm on matters known for months, smacks of opportunism/disregard for community forced to endure a Brexit it firmly rejected

Very good of Chief Minister Fabian Picardo to have written to Bill Cash to allay concerns that the latter’s recent statement may have unnecessarily caused. Optimism remains for a settled outcome that delivers a safe, beneficial UK/EU Treaty on the Rock’s relationship with EU.

Curious to know the basis for your alarm. Gibraltar didn’t want Brexit. We’re on the cusp of a Treaty to deliver joint prosperity to both sides of the Gibraltar border & protect us from the harshest realties of Brexit. The detail will be important but it’s Brexit that alarms me.
