I just had a regular meeting with a student on WebEx, and it went fine (no technical difficulties amid a supposed system overload). Hoping my millions of colleagues worldwide are doing great in their attempt to conduct a class remotely!

I was hoping most students in my class would participate in the extra credit activity to call racism in communication (and related it to concepts in our book). Only minority students did. We have a lot to learn, white people. Yes, they all received extra credit (!).

Sign & circulate! petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/allow… It affects most US grad students & lots of undergrads too. Let's call #StudentBan for what it is: A gut punch to defund #highered. They've tried less state, fed & aid money, commodifying education, indebting kids, disbelieving science...

Super proud of the exams I wrote (lols) and my students all completing them on time :-) I hope they have fun watching ads and analyzing them — and that's a wrap!
