If we do not transform our pain, we will always transmit it. Someone else always suffers because we don’t know how to suffer our own wounds. ow.ly/smo130r9unC

Shame is an emotional cue signaling potential wrongdoing that may impact your well-being. It requires mindful reflection to determine its validity. If valid, guilt should replace it; if not, challenge the shame and assert yourself. Action is the escape from shame. Failing to

This hits different as a mental health professional. "Brothers, even if a person is caught in some transgression, you who are spiritual should correct that one in a gentle spirit, looking to yourself, so that you also may not be tempted." Gal 6:1

I'm glad to see the research published. It supports my clinical observations using Image Transformation Therapy and Flash Technique. I'm hopeful we can further develop these therapies to enhance positive outcomes.

I was recently digging through some old journals of mine and discovered my first 5 year plan that I wrote in Jan of 2020. I blew all of my goals and expectations out of the water. The lesson learned: I should really not underestimate myself so much.

All sinful behavior begins with anxiety. Not the feeling itself, but our surrender to it. When fear becomes our master, we cease to act from freedom, love, truth, and virtue; instead, we act to relieve distress. Sin enters when we choose relief over what is right.

Psychotropic drugs have caused tremendous harm due to their widespread use as first-line treatments for most mental health issues. This paradigm stems from a culture unwilling to slow down and invest time, instead demanding instant results for minimal effort. This must change.

“Do not be afraid.” – Luke 1:30 The angel said it to Mary, and it’s still for us this Advent too. December can feel heavy (money, schedules, worries), but look back: God carried you through 11 tough months. He’s not stopping now. Fear doesn’t win. Jesus does.
