We’ve had a busy week at the Blue Pride Classic and our young group has learned some valuable lessons about intensity and the mental side of varsity basketball. While 0-3 is not what we wanted, we are starting to understand what it is going to take to be successful.

We will have another opportunity to get better at 230 pm tomorrow against Montebello.

We finished off the Blue Pride Classic with a loss in a close game to Montebello on Saturday. We fought, but had a rough shooting game. We will try to have a more successful week in the Buc Pride tournament at Bellflower high school starting on Monday. #bluepride

After losses vs. El Toro and Salesian, we won our Consolation game in the Bellflower Buc Pride Classic versus ECHS 73-57. We defended well in the second half with balanced scoring throughout the game. We will play for the Silver Div. Consolation Championship Saturday at noon.

After a rough 6 game losing streak where we lost multiple close ones late, we finally picked up a 50-46 win against Katella in the D5 Challenge tonight. We had multiple guys step up and play well for a team win. We play West Covina tomorrow.

We started out pool play with a solid 69-28 win over Capistrano Valley. Tomorrow we will have a tough one vs Orange at the Rancho Alamitos Tournament.

We started the season off with a solid 71-32 win over Alhambra! We continue non-league play with a game vs Baldwin Park on Thursday! 🏀

Varsity won the championship in the red division of the Doug Uselton Memorial Tournament with a 48-43 win over Segerstrom tonight. Junior Guard Andrew Morones earned All Tournament honors and Adam Rivas was Tournament MVP. We will be playing El Monte on Friday night. #bluepride

Two solid wins this week vs Montebello 55-21 and vs El Monte 66-6, move us to 16-4 on the season! Now we open league with a game at La Serna on Wednesday! 🏀

After two league losses we were able to get our first league win on Friday against Santa Fe 70-43. Thank you to the teachers who participated in our Teacher Appreciation Night. We play Whittier on Weds at 5 pm at home.

We had a great 2nd half and were able to pull out a 49-41 win vs Rio Hondo Prep in the 1st round of CIF! Now we go on the road to play Eastside tomorrow! 🏀
