Cabinet has approved a new road safety strategy which sets out how we plan to work with Surrey Police Surrey PCC Surrey Fire & Rescue Service and National Highways to reduce death and injury on Surrey’s roads. A public consultation will begin in January to seek residents’ views on the proposals.

Inflation has more than halved, from over 11% to 3.9% - so we can see the plan is working. With inflationary pressures easing, alongside the major business tax cuts I announced in the autumn statement, we are back on the path to healthy sustainable growth
