It's World Health and Safety day 🌍🦺

We've teamed up with Surrey County Council News to launch a new Health and Safety Campaign: “It’s up to me”

We want to empower and encourage our people to do the right thing when it comes to health and safety, to make the right choices and own it!

Tomorrow is our water safety event at Virginia Water Lake! 🚤💦

From 11am - 2pm we will be there with rescue demonstrations, water safety advice from our crews, you can meet water safety experts and get a chance to see their specialist equipment in action!🚓🚒🚑

Anyone could drown, no one should. If you start to struggle in the water:

- Tilt your head back
- Relax, breathe normally
- Move your hands to help you float
- Spread your arms and legs out
- Call for help or swim to safety

226 people accidentally drowned in England in 2022. These were accidents which could have been prevented.
